ONS Foundation 7th National Conference on Cancer Nursing Research - NIH Session: Common Problems Noted by Peer Reviews

This 2003 session describes the research funding process at the National Institutes of Health and focuses on areas of the application (PHS 398) that often present challenges for applicants. Part I is an overview of the grant review process by Dr. Trudi McFarland, Health Scientist Administrator at the Center for Scientific Review at NIH. Parts II through V present specific aspects of the application by four current members of the Nursing Study Section Review Group. Helpful suggestions on how to avoid common pitfalls and submit a strong application for research funding are included in these Powerpoint presentations.
