Support Patient Resource Area

There are many different resources available to provide patients and their families with support in a wide variety of areas. These resources include specific information for families as well as resources for emotional and financial support.

ACS: Coping With Treatment
The American Cancer Society provides resources to help manage the day-to-day details of treatment.

ACS: I Can Cope
I Can Cope online classes are self-paced and feature voice over, videos, quizzes with feedback, links to more in-depth information, and a satisfaction survey. The average time to complete a class is 20-30 minutes (or longer if users watch the videos and read the linked information).Classes include "Cancer-Related Fatigue" and "Relieving Cancer Pain."

Palliative Dementia Care Resources
Palliative Dementia Care Resources (PDCR) provides resources and information to help people make decisions about end-of-life care and services for individuals with dementia. Created by Polisher Research Institute and funded by the Farber Family Foundation, PCDR guides professional and family caregivers to news, educational materials, and organizations related to palliative care for individuals living with advanced dementia.
