Colorectal Cancer Patient Resource Area

Colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in both men and women in the United States. The American Cancer Society estimates that there will be 148,610 new cases of colorectal cancer diagnosed in the U.S. this year. One out of 18 people in this country will develop colorectal cancer in their lifetime. Use the links below to learn more about screening for colorectal cancer and the many new treatment options available for this disease.

Colon Cancer Alliance
The Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) is an organization of colon and rectal cancer survivors, their families, caregivers, people genetically predisposed to the disease and healthcare providers community. Support and information for those touched bt colorectal cancer is provided.

Colorectal Cancer Network
Assist people with cancer, their family, friends and care givers find the information to help them make decisions regarding treatment and management of their disease. Support groups, listservs, chat rooms, matching list that connects newly diagnosed with long term survivors, an extensive library of colorectal cancer and other relevant links are available.

Colorectal CareLine
Patient Advocate Foundation's Colorectal CareLine is a patient/provider hotline designed to provide assistance to patients who have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer and are seeking education and access to care. The Colorectal CareLine also offers financial aid through the Financial Aid Fund for those diagnosed with colorectal cancer who need financial assistance.
