Anna N. Vioral, MSN, MEd, RN, OCN

AnnaVioralAnna Vioral, MSN, MEd, RN, OCN® received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Albright College in 1989, a Masters in Nursing Education from Duquesne University in 2004, a Certificate in Distance Education from Penn State University in 2007, and a Masters in Adult Education from Penn State University in 2008. She has been accepted into the doctorate nursing education program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania beginning in 2010.

Anna has been a member of ONS since 1988, a local Greater Pittsburgh Chapter ONS member since 2000, and an OCN® certified nurse since 2000. She has published articles and participates in a wide range of organizations and volunteer activities including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, NNSDO, Sigma Theta Tau, Pi Lambda Theta, and ONS Targeted Therapy SIG.

In addition, Anna has served on the ONCC Test Development Committee and the Greater Pittsburgh ONS Chapter Board as Director-at-Large and has presented at the Oncology Nursing Society Institute of Learning. She has received numerous honors and recognitions including the Cameo of Caring award and the GPC-ONS Exemplar Award.

Her employment background includes clinical nursing in medical, surgical, hematological, and transplant oncology nursing, nursing staff development, and most recently a system oncology quality coordinator for the West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, PA. She has developed and integrated numerous oncology courses, staff development programs, quality initiatives, and website development and management. She also works as adjunct faculty in the school of nursing at Duquesne University for the undergraduate program.
