ONS members have asked for more journal club information. As a result, every issue of the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing and the Oncology Nursing Forum includes a journal club article with corresponding discussion questions. We are delighted to unveil our latest project – The ONS Virtual Journal Club.
With health and oncology care changing rapidly, oncology nursing practice is influenced greatly by trends in evidence-based practice and nursing-sensitive outcomes—these are components of high-quality cancer care. Journal club programs can boost the skills of oncology nurses and elevate their ability to evaluate literature and translate research findings to clinical practice, education, administration, and research.
