Strategic Sponsorship

The new ONS Strategic Sponsor Program is an exclusive, high-level sponsorship available to a limited group of industry supporters.  It was created in the spirit of true partnership to offer high-level benefits that will reinforce your company’s industry leadership position and fulfill multiple marketing objectives.  We recognize the value we can deliver to your company’s marketing efforts through targeted visibility and access to our membership.  And, we acknowledge the valuable role that our industry supporters play in creating value for our members and helping us to advance our profession.

Below is a partial list of the exclusive opportunities offered through this fully integrated sponsorship opportunity:

  • High-level Sponsor recognition at our national conferences, ongoing recognition and positioning in ONS communication vehicles, and year-round acknowledgement on the ONS Website.
  • Access to an official ONS Strategic Sponsor logo to help elevate your communication and promotional efforts.
  • Key Access Opportunities – ONS will facilitate the interactions that ensure visibility with our members and volunteer leaders.
  • Promotional tools and activation funds for exhibits, advertising and other promotional activities.
  • High-Caliber Servicing - ONS will actively work throughout the year to ensure the success of your sponsorship through dedicated account management, strategy discussions and participation in the annual ONS Sponsorship Summit.

This approach represents a new era in ONS’ corporate partnerships, and we’re proud to offer the Strategic Sponsorship to our industry supporters.  The investment for this comprehensive opportunity is $150,000 per year. Please contact Michele McCorkle, Executive Director, ONS Corporate Support, Partnerships and Education, at mmccorkle@ons.org or 412-859-6266 to learn more about the ONS Strategic Sponsorship.

Additional Sponsorship Opportunities

ONS Mentorship/Leadership Meeting

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the ONS Mentorship/Leadership Meetings, to be held July 15-18, 2010 in Pittsburgh, PA.  These two leadership programs help to guarantee that leaders are being trained to follow proper protocol in providing meaningful experiences to ONS members while maintaining the goal of creating a knowledge driven nurse who will be best suited to care for patients with cancer. ONS chapter presidents, Special Interest Group (SIG) leaders, and  ONS national leadership will be at ONS headquarters for this meeting to learn, network, and exchange ideas throughout the weekend.  A very limited number of opportunities are available for Platinum Level Sponsors and Gold Level Sponsors for these meetings, which offer exclusive access to key leaders who attend.

Honor Someone Special

The Honor Someone Special program celebrates the individual accomplishments of oncology registered nurses who make a difference in the lives of people with cancer and their families. This program is a simple yet meaningful way to say “thank you” or “job well done.”  To ensure that we are celebrating what we hold most dear about the profession, Honor Someone Special is tied to the ONS mission.  This program celebrates the contributions that oncology nurses make. All oncology nurses who, in their own practice, promote excellence in oncology nursing and quality cancer care will be eligible.  This program will reach over 35,000 nurses at both the local and national levels.  Please visit www.ons.org/honorsomeonespecial to learn more about the Honor Someone Special program.

Special Interest Group (SIG) Newsletters

ONS publishes online newsletters for each of its Special Interest Groups.  Each is edited independently by volunteer SIG leaders who are content experts.  Corporate sponsorship of a SIG newsletter provides sponsoring companies with an exclusive opportunity to have their name associated with the subspecialty.  SIG newsletters are posted on the SIGs Virtual Community, and are also available to the entire ONS membership on the ONS website. The annual cost to support a SIG Newsletter is $3000.

Awards

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is dedicated to the professional development of oncology nurses around the world. Through the awards, scholarships, and research grants, ONS seeks to recognize those nurses devoted to the care of individuals with cancer and to the specialty of oncology nursing.  ONS gratefully acknowledges the corporate supporters that have helped to foster an environment that encourages and supports the pursuit of excellence in oncology nursing.

ONS Distinguished Awards ($5,000)
