ONCC Certification Awards

CPON® of the Year Award (OC05)

Award: A $1,000 award and a crystal award.

Purpose: To recognize outstanding achievements of a CPON^® certified nurse.

Selection Criteria: The nominee must be a CPON^®. Members of the ONCC Recognition Subcommittee and the ONCC Board of Directors are not eligible to be nominees, to nominate individuals, or to provide recommendations for nominees. Nominees must demonstrate accomplishments in three major areas-promotion of pediatric oncology nursing certification, service, and one of the following areas of pediatric oncology nursing practice: clinical practice, education, or research.
