Application Process

You may also e-mail ONS, ONS Foundation, or ONCC for information on a specific award, scholarship, or grant.

Applications links for all ONS awards may be found on the ONS Awards web pages. Recipients of ONS awards are notified by the end of February.

Please note that applications for the ONCC awards are available after May of each year. Applications for ONS Foundation grants are available in March, and applications for ONS Foundation scholarships, cancer public-education projects, career development awards, and Congress scholarships are available after June of each year. When you call or write for an application, refer to the number in parentheses following the name of each award. This will ensure that you receive the correct application.

Also note that the ONS Publishing Awards (with the exception of the Rose Mary Carroll-Johnson ONS Distinguished Award for Consistent Contribution to Nursing Literature) are not judged by nominations but are based on abstracts or articles that have appeared in either the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing or the Oncology Nursing Forum.

Recipients of ONS Foundation awards are notified by early April.
